Relic Drum Co is proud to officially introduce the all-new Relic Signature Series — a major step forward for the brand and the culmination of years of development, design refinement, and long-term vision.
For years, Relic Drum Co has focused on delivering high-value drum kits aimed at beginner to intermediate drummers. The Signature Series represents the next evolution of the company — a move into the upper echelon of the drumming world through premium finishes, custom-designed hardware, and boutique-inspired craftsmanship.
The development process began with one clear objective: create a drum kit that could be instantly recognised without relying on a logo. From the earliest lug sketches and hardware concepts through to the final production designs, every component was carefully refined to establish a distinctive visual identity unique to Relic Signature.
The result is a complete signature hardware suite featuring custom lugs, brackets, claws, spurs, and the new Relic Resomax aluminium suspension mount. Weighing only 300 grams — less than half the weight of a traditional RIMS-style mount — the Resomax system was engineered to maximise shell resonance while maintaining a refined, modern aesthetic.
A major focus throughout development was offering drummers a level of customisation rarely seen within this category. Relic Signature kits are available with multiple premium hardware finishes including chrome, black nickel, gold, antique bronze, antique brass, and antique nickel. Supporting six complete hardware finish options across hoops, lugs, brackets, claws, spurs, and mounting systems has been a significant undertaking, but one that reflects Relic Drum Co’s commitment to individuality and craftsmanship.
The Signature Series also introduces a range of premium finish options, including the new aluminium flake sparkle finishes. These highly detailed finishes require an intensive multi-stage process that creates exceptional depth, movement, and reflection under light — delivering a truly premium visual experience.
Alongside the vibrant sparkle finishes, the Satin Walnut configurations showcase another side of the Relic Signature vision. Paired with antique hardware options, these kits were designed to embody timeless luxury — blending vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern functionality and performance.
The inspiration behind Relic Signature draws from some of the most iconic names in drumming history, while still pushing to create something unmistakably original. The investment into custom moulds, proprietary hardware, and unique visual identity marks an important milestone in establishing the long-term future of Relic Drum Co.
Relic Drum Co would also like to extend special thanks to Fab for the insight, feedback, and ongoing support throughout the development process, as well as Shane Dawson for backing the project early and purchasing the very first Relic Signature kit — an 8-piece Pink Sparkle configuration — completely off the plan.
This release marks only the beginning for Relic Signature, with future artist collaborations, custom builds, and new finish options already in development.
