I have been playing drums since 2006 (roughly 20 years at the time of writing) I play mostly in the genres of rock and metal, but have done session work in folk, R'n'B, and electronic, to name a few. I have also been teaching since 2016, through teaching I have had more of an opportunity to explore other styles, such as jazz and latin.
I like to try and incorporate different genres into heavier music, always looking for something different or special to make a part stand out. I like to play dynamically no matter the job, ghost notes and accents are where it's at, and of course, blast beats.

Chaos Sticks – 5A-RT & 5B-RT
Depending on the job I might need a heavier or lighter stick.
Regardless of whether it's the A or B size, the RT gets me tone I am looking for out of my gear. The round tip makes for a consistent sound when striking cymbals or drums. Chaos sticks are considerably more affordable than mainline brands without sacrificing build quality. All of mine have proven to stand up well to my rim shots and punishment after many sessions.
