The Chaos Elite Custom Birch & Bubinga Snare Drum combines world-class tonewoods, elite craftsmanship, and a meticulous multi-stage finishing process. The shell is constructed from an 8-ply hybrid build, featuring 6 plies of premium Latvian Birch paired with 2 plies of exotic Bubinga. This combination produces a highly responsive snare with fast attack and clarity from the Birch, while the Bubinga adds warmth, body, and enhanced low-frequency presence. The result is a versatile snare that performs equally well in studio environments and high-energy live settings.
The finishing process is a centerpiece of the Elite series. Each shell begins with a hand-rubbed dye, absorbed into the Birch surface to expose every grain detail. Multiple layers of high-gloss lacquer are then applied, sanded, and polished by hand, creating a luxurious, glass-like finish with exceptional depth, clarity, and refinement.
